Kokane releases another gut-wrenching video which shows some of the hardships and social injustices that still exist in American society. The song is called, “They Tryna Killus” produced by West Coast Stone and video shot by YG Preach. Kokane’s GFunk sound and Curtis Mayfield approach, has definitely captured the spirit of 70’s funk and poetry, such as: the “Last Poets” “War” “Marvin Gaye” and etc. Kokane really tells it like it is on this joint, and right on time for Black History Month.
